There was a night of fun, food, music, and drinking as we celebrate Irish heritage for a St Patrick's Day bash! It was attended by so many people from our community and many special guests. There was lots of great food, awesome conversations, and some amazing dancing.
The Deptford Committee presented our four candidates. Each spoke from their heart as to why they were running and a little background on themselves. We also had some very special guests that attended our event, they were ....
To sum up the evening, it was a great success and an amazing launch to our club, events, upcoming Primary and Election.

The Gloucester County presented your State, Senator, Freeholder candidates. Each spoke from their heart as to why they were running and a little background on themselves. The following are some very special guests that attended in person or via video this event, they were:

The Deptford Republicans held a Meet and Greet in the park. There was music, fun for the kids, and a chance to ask the town council candidates some questions and to get to known each of them on a more personal level. Each spoke from their heart as to why they were running and a little background on themselves.
It was at Fasola Park from 11 am to 2pm. We also had some very special guests that attended our event too.

Rich, David, Martin & Robin had a great time meeting everyone in the park today. It was nice seeing the kids enjoy the snacks, the music, and the coloring. What a beautiful day to be in the park.
I (Rich) do have to say I am disgusted that the Deptford Democrats heard that we were meeting and then decided to rent both pavilions, all day, just to spite us. They didn't even show up. They just sent one guy in a suit to guard them. They need to leave our community out of their childish political games. Taking up both pavilions on a beautiful Sunday day is uncalled for. There were families eating on crowded playground benches instead of the pavilion picnic tables. I honestly can't believe they would stoop to this level.

With short notice to the residents of Oak Valley and a perfect evening to have a Meet & Greet. There were several people that stopped as they drove by and a few that walked up from nearby streets, that were glad to hear and see that there was are Republican candidates that are running for Council seats. Conversations with candidates and club members mostly were long and informative conversation. One family was so kind to purchase and had delivered Pizza for everyone.

I highly recommend a visit if you haven't been. Even a peaceful stroll around the grounds is worth your time. And to sit at the memorial on a bench and reflect why we have this holiday is also moving for the inner soul."

The residents out here in Oak Valley in Deptford NJ are AWSOME. I was just finishing up in there area Campaigning and on my way to my next two Campaign stops. When I pulled over and heard Ohhhh my God.....his here his here I can't believe it . Two next door neighbors screaming while the others was Canvassing wanted to meet me.
It was a pleasure having a opportunity to speak with both of them, I really enjoy our conversation. Being a Candidate for NJ State Senate 5th Legislative District ROCKS!

Nice to see the candidates from the GOP out today. Great info. It was really nice to see Clyde Cook out too. We don't usually get Senatorial candidates in our little development, but he was out there in the heat sharing his plan for New Jersey. Clyde Cook is the WRITE-IN candidate for Senate.

Many Candidates from State to Township and supporters showed up to support, ask questions, and then listen to each candidate's answers. At one point during the picnic, the National Anthem began to play, everyone stopped what they were doing and began to sing the version that was playing. Everyone had an amazing time mingling with each other.

Unfortunately the event was shutdown prematurely due to the Mayor and Council sending two police officers out to shut down the event. This is a Mr Softee Icecream truck in a park… The police have better things to do with their time than go on personal missions for the town council. It’s time for some change, and that starts in Deptford.

On the evening of September 1, 2021 Tropical Storm Ida touched Deptford, NJ with Tornados. Firefighters, EMS & Police, plus utility crews worked though the night. Rescuing people, opening roadways, clearing utility lines, restoring power and more. Cleanup and restoration of our town then began the next morning and continued into the Labor Day Weekend.
